I have a simple idea about “State Dinners”. If the President can actually name the person who he’s shaking hands with, fine. They can come. If the usual poses are taking place, where the total stranger gets to stand next to the Pres or Biden, everyone wearing the idiot grin of the photo-op, forget it. Why Spielberg and *not* anyone else who can smile their way past the guards? Washington DC as usual.

As for that married couple who conned their way into the White House, they should have been thrown out immediately. But I guess if they had, Joe Biden would have become president so maybe that wouldn’t have been such a hot idea.

I hate to say it but the fact that they looked kind of like Ken and Barbie at midlife probably meant that if any profiling was used, they would have been off the radar screen.
By the way, Like the bubble boy parents, what is it with these folks trying to get a reality series? Are they all living in a fantasy world?

CJ,
Your comment would have made great material for the late Bob Hope.

Oh, you’re talking about the current President. I thought for a moment you were flashing back to the Florida recounts in 2000…

You know, after a year or so into this miniseries, I’ve decided I don’t like it very much. Has anyone seen the remote?
