PRIORITIES

Mr. President?  How’s your war against Fox News going these days?

Eight American troops were killed in two separate bomb attacks Tuesday in southern Afghanistan, making October the deadliest month of the war for U.S. forces since the 2001 invasion to oust the Taliban.

The deaths bring to 55 the total number of American troops killed in October in Afghanistan. The previous high occurred in August, when 51 U.S. soldiers died and the troubled nation held the first round of its presidential election amid a wave of Taliban insurgent attacks.

He wants this. It’ll make it easier for him to excuse pulling everyone out, declaring victory, and ignoring that the Taliban will take the whole thing back in a year.

Sort of a shorter, less bloody version of Vietnam.

I hope someone in the current Administration understands just how bad an idea ‘cut and run’ is. I truly do.

Of course the numbers are rising, and they will continue to rise, because the Obortionist doesn’t believe in what they’re doing.

Instead, with Harry’s and Nancy’s help he’s trying to package and repackage and repackage again to get yet another entitlement program into law. None of them care what it will do to the country; just like O’s willingness to leave a newborn in a closet until it dies just because an abortionist didn’t succeed.

And the way Barry and Rahm have practiced Chicago-style politics during their gig in DC, I’m starting to hope that one of them never gets elected again.

And you can take that last sentence any way you like.

They very well might. Surely the Joint Chiefs have made it clear as crystal. But to them this is “Bush’s War”, and any failure can be placed (and WILL be placed by the MSM) on his doorstep.

Speaking of “Priorities” Isn’t Obama currently on the campaign trail? He and Clinton never wore uniforms and neither has respect for the military. His “solution” in Afghanistan will be political. He and his cronies will not be able to spin their way out of this but he has recently gone back to the “It’s Bush’s fault” gambit.

If he’s going to cut and run, it would be better for our people over there if he would make up his mind and do it. Leaving them hanging like this, without the reinforcements and new rules of engagement and also without withdrawal plans is outrageous. The success of the mission and the well-being of his troops are the two most important things.

Katherine,
You forget that Obama does not give a rosy rat’s rear about the military. I think he would be happy if they all were wiped out. That would give him perfect cover to abandon the anti-terrorist effort over there.

The man was unqualified to be elected Commander-in-Chief. He shows it more and more every day. But, of course, whatever he does, the liberals will blame George Bush for it.

It is a crock, of course, but with the Media being in bed with the White House, he can get away with it.

The man was unqualified for any aspect of the presidency.

And it’s nice to see something besides the damn Catholic/Anglican thing. Post away, Christopher!

I am not on the Palin for President bandwagon, but seriously, Obama was less-qualified as an executive that she, and his inexperience in matters of state is showing. He’s not learning, either.
