Well, the proponents of that twaddle are a gaseous lot…

“They give awards for that?”

They must do, because they gave it to Al Gore after all. It’s not like he ever did anything for, say, Peace.

I was hoping to be nominated last year for my signature piece, “Huge Pile of Burning Tires,” but I never heard from the committee. This year, I’m working on a project to simultaneously ignite all the plastic in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.

For those of us old enough to remember the “experts” predicting the next ice age, I am somewhat suspicious about the latest spin on temperature. If however, there is a significant rise in the oceans, it will bring coastal flooding to the continental U.S. This will mean less liberals.

I know people are not responsible for their surnames and I’ve spent my life pronouncing or spelling my last name, which would have been Johnson had my great-grandfather chosen to convert it to English. But, jeez, “Overpeck?” Monty Python could have had a field day with that moniker! As to global warming – give it a rest, OP.

Hey, at least now we know who’s to blame for it!
