The UN is built on a a world-view that no longer exists. The original idea was that it would be the creature of the U.S., Britain, France and the U.S.S.R., with the Security Council overseeing things.

Britain is now a back-water socialist dump, France is soon to be mooslim and the former U.S.S.R. pays no attention to the UN. With all of the decolonization after WWII and the rise of the mooslim terrorist states, the UN is now merely an international gangster entity dedicated to birth control, anti-Western rhetoric and the destruction of Israel.

It is long past time that this “dream” of FDR be consigned to the rubbish heap of history. And the first step is getting rid of the Kenyan Communist on November 6. He is much more a United Nationist than anything resembling an American.

I’ve been wondering for several years if the UN was already a legitimate enemy of this country.

Woe to them who fail to see the real wolf disguised as a “well meaning” lamb. Between one small nation called Israel, and an entire crescent of the world surface stretching from Morocco to Indonesia professing the most intolerant world domination movement disguised as a religion and in deliberate breach of the most fundamental human rights,including those in the Human Rights Charter of the UN itself, and claiming the support of 1,32 billion people, who is the greater threat to humanity?

It is about the UN was given a wake up. Until such time as the UN returns to an international organization acting purely upon a UN Charter of (ABSOLUTE) Human rights focussing on preventing international and internecine wars, there should be no funding to the UN by any western nation particularly for proposals designed to impose factional political agendas. Or else. Just let it slowly disintegrate into an irrelevant rabble.

I would say it already has reached that stage. It is nothing more than a platform for anti-American sentiment and advocacy.

And it says nothing about human rights of those bombarded by rockets and gunfire by the Palestinians.

Re Volvo: last I heard it was owned by the Chinese. What a tangle!

Having the UN in NYC follows the old adage: Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer!

Where the UN has gone wrong is not recognizing that Israel won the Six Days war and that land now belongs to Israel. It isn’t “occupied” Palestinian territory. Get over it.

Michal I’m sure the Chinese will sit up and take notice of their beloved mooslim cousins and consider how they can advance human rights on this planet.
