THINGS THAT MAKE YOU SAY, “AW, SKIP IT!”

Ms. Lydia York of Wilmington, Delaware brilliantly sums up the modern Episcopal Organization:

As we could not violate the decisions of the Diocese of New Hampshire, we should not violate the decisions of the Diocese of Northern Michigan.  They have found their bishop. Others should not interfere unless there is concrete evidence of heresy or apostasy.

Notice that little key weasel word in there, “concrete?” It is beyond all legal concepts of evidence, such as “relevant,” “material,” “probative,” “conclusive,” or “beyond a reasonable doubt.” It is even beyond “caught red-handed” and “fer sure, dude!” Even if he is found in a Buddhist temple in Tibet offering incense, a plea of “I was only meditating” will save the day. It would appear that if a TEc bishop also simultaneously becomes Grand Mullah of Mecca, the cry will still be, “Hey, where’s your “concrete” evidence of heresy or apostasy?” George Orwell wrote alot about this sort of thing.

Well, let’s see Ms. York,

The “progressive” fundamentalist radicals now ruling the day in TEC (of which you seem to be yet another parroting minion) embrace each of the following quite readily and broadly: Arianism, Montanism, docetism, universalism, further denial of the essential attributes, uniqueness, and deity of Jesus Christ, syncretism, Marcionism, gnosticism…well…the list is soooo long, Stand Firm has this thread to document the junk being passed off by TEC’s ersatz leadership here: http://www.standfirminfaith.com/index.php/site/article/13902

And Forrester is yet another who would lead his flock into nothingness (how very Buddhist of him, n’est-ce pas?).

Concrete enough for you Ms. York? How do you like your fair-haired boy now, Ms. York?

Ms. York, I give you your Episcopal church Salmagundi. Go ahead. Take it. I don’t want it anyway. It reeks of death.

Ms. York, tell that to Bishop Lawrence.

Honestly, the white wash is beginning to peel off of their sepulchers.

Salmagundi: The word is derived from the French word salmigondis which means disparate assembly of things, ideas or people, forming an incoherent whole.

“As we could not violate the decisions of the Diocese of New Hampshire, we should not violate the decisions of the Diocese of Northern Michigan. They have found their bishop.”

Fair enough. So, why don’t folks like you respect the decisions of the Diocese of San Joquin, Pittsburgh, Quincy, and San Antonio? They found their bishops…

I knew this sort of argument would pop up sooner or later. My question to Mrs. York: why wasn’t that argument good enough when the Diocese of South Carolina first elected Mark Lawrence?

Hypocrisy, thy name is ignorant TEC members, whether clerical, lay, or episcopal!

We won’t tell you what to do as long as what you do is what we agree with. But, we will not tolerate the intolerant.
