LAST MEAL
Saturday, May 5th, 2012 | Uncategorized
If I ever morally fall far enough to murder someone or if I ever decide that I just don’t want to live anymore, this is how I plan to close my account. Except for the easily-adjustable fact that it looks FAR too light on the bacon.

You want fries with that?
May 5, 2012
I want the recipe or where can I get one? Although I wouldn’t use Swiss cheese. Maybe mozzarella.
Wow!
And, no, that don’t need fries!

OMG – that’s what Heaven is like!!!!!!
May 5, 2012
That’s breakfast, what about lunch and dinner?
To be honest that looks to contain the amount of fat I consume in a month.

A picture of the light brunch I have on Sundays – Big deal!
Actually, I’ve always hoped that my last meal would be Michelle Pfeiffer.
Yeah, I know, I know. Cheap and crass. But, hey, I’m old, I’m confused.

I saw that before on Insty, and already have plans to make one. I’m scouting the bread and such now…

As a vegetarian, I find that concoction barbaric, and offensive at a visceral level. You should be ashamed of yourself for even mentioning it. Replace the bacon with seaweed, and the cheese with tofu, and the steak with lentils. Then you would have an enlightened and tasty meal that doesn’t depend upon slaughtering fellow sentient creatures for your enjoyment.
But of course you won’t. You’re probably one of those people who think ‘People for the Eating and Tasting of Animals’ is funny. Savage.

I hope those are Mexican cokes – the kind made with sugar instead of corn syrup.
And Carl, I’m shocked that anyone would think of combining lentils and seaweed. Lentils should be paired with garlic, onion, tomato and parsley, and ladled over meatballs.
May 5, 2012
But of course you won’t.
Damn skippy. more bacon and mozzarella cheese. those are the changes I’m making.
May 5, 2012
and btw, lentils are also excellent with smoked sausage.
May 5, 2012
Perhaps the french fries could be put inside with the other fillings.

What? No “Clown Celebrant?”

Jeffersonian, I’m pretty sure you can get loaves of bread like the one shown here at Bread Co. (Panera for folks outside St. Louis). Tell us how it turns out.

Of course my aboriginal cousins will leap at the chance to become vegans, NOT!
But growing season in Gries Fjord is so darned short.
Actually I’d rather chow down on a good feed of natsiq, it has all and more of the nutrients of a rabbit food dinner and makes a nice jacket after.
Ken,
Thanks for the tip. When I cook lentils, I generally cook ‘em with ham. Haven’t cooked lentils much lately since they tend to wreak havoc on my gastro-intestinal tract. I’d provide more details on that except for the fact that I don’t want to and you don’t want me to either.
That looks like a take on a classic British sandwich (“classic” as in “ninteenth century,” I think). It is called something like “Shooters’ sandwich” or “Hunter’s sandwich” and basically consists of ingredients layered and pressed under a weight. But I don’t think the original had all that fat in it… or maybe it did… I DID say it was British

You skip your gastro-intestinal details and I’ll skip mine. Suffice it to say that losing my gall bladder had unforeseen consequences.
May 6, 2012
I am not familiar with gall bladder issues. However, on the general problem of what lentils, beans, etc., can do you your innards, go to the drug store and check out Digestive Advantage Gas Defense Formula. One capsule daily, two if it’s a really bad case, and you can eat all those beans, peas and legumes the nutrition experts recommend. I hope your spam filter won’t think I’m running commercials!
Katherine? Please don’t take this the wrong way but I think I love you.

Don’t feel bad. I regularly have to confess to being madly in love with Katherine for her wit, humor and extremely practical common sense.
She is living proof that there is hope for North Carolina. A state with Katherine and Fr. Robert Hart as residents cannot be all bad!!

Only those who suffer can understand what we’re talking about. I can’t (and won’t) describe the agonies of several airline fights years ago which I finally traced to those blasted little packages of peanuts.
May 6, 2012
I am blushing, gentlemen.
May 6, 2012
It’d be awesome if the little details were spelled out in words rather than pictures.
