We were told that the abortionist in Philadelphia who ran the little shop of horrors was an exception. It would be very difficult to kill babies for a living and keep any sense of decency intact.

And people think all the state-sanctioned atrocities happen in the third world.

Evil beyond comprehension.

Were I to send this entry to my mother she would be horrified, not that this actually happens in the murder mills, but that I would be mean enough to show it to her. She says that she never have had an abortion herself (she carried four to term) but swears that others need to have the ability to.

She really has never been able to see her own double standard. Stories like this one are where we end up.

That is a very common attitude. I’ve tried to see it from their point of view, but it just makes no sense.

Just as in the days of slavery people who tolerate a great evil try to hide from the horror, ignore the horror and discuss anything else, but the horror remanins.

The end justifies the means. None so blind as those that have eyes and refuse to see. To continue this activity in the light of the reality is a Sin against the Holy Spirit: it cannot be forgiven.

This is blood guilt in God’s view, plain and simple. A violation of the 6th and 7th commandments and thus the Two Great Commandments as well.

And yes, the Western church, and thus nations, are already experiencing the consequences of transgressing God’s law in regard to shedding of human blood (abortion), worship (idolatry, syncretism, heresy), sexual behavior (promiscuity, homosex, sexual abuse by clergy no less!) and greed/selfishness/dishonesty.

Read Leviticus 26 and the consequences of disobedience and transgression. Read Isaiah 1:16-17; 61:1-4 and see God’s expectations of His people. God exacts justice. God judges/punishes a nation by how his people/church behave according to HIS Word/Law.

Repentance is the only way out and the only way back.

It’s God’s way or the highway.

People could not do this unless:
- their love and fear of God was non-existent or compromised.
- their own humanity/personhood had not been damaged and devalued.

Most people who opt for promiscuity and abortion have experienced abuse, abandonment, apathy, addiction and ungodly modeling. I was part of a Rachael’s Vineyard retreat a couple of years ago. ALL of the participants had experienced one or more of these things in their formative years. They followed their natural conditioned fleshly hungers to the final outcome of abortion and the guilt, shame, dysfunction it leaves in its wake.
