I’m guessing the left is ticked off because the conservatives newly elected are intent on keeping campaign promises, whereas Obama’s broken all of his (except, it seems, getting those energy prices to skyrocket).

They could be charged with election fraud for doing what they promised in the campaign. I mean, Please! What politician does that?

It would be like the drug company saying to the guy who walks in looking like the Wolfman: “No, we were serious when we said not to drink alcohol with our drug.”

When will the media realise that – for the tea party – a permanent government shutdown of all discretionary spending is precisely what they were elected to provide?

And, of course, not just “discretionary” spending but the big three on the welfare bill: medicare, medicaid, and welfare.
